Course Overview

The Project AWARE Specialty program is designed to familiarise divers and non-divers with the plight of worldwide aquatic ecosystems. It also describes what individuals can do to help protect aquatic resources.


Prerequisites

To enroll in the Project AWARE Specialty program, participants need not beDo your bit and measure your carbon footprint
certified divers nor have any prior scuba or snorkelling experience. There is no minimum age requirement.

Course Objectives
You will be informed about aquatic ecosystem degradation and the conservation measures protecting aquatic resources. This includes:

Because the Project AWARE Specialty program does not have any dive or skill requirements, participants do not receive a specialty diving certification card. However, participants may receive a PADI completion (non-diving) card and/or a Project AWARE Certificate of Recognition.
