International Association of Handicapped Divers
The International Association for Handicapped Divers (IAHD) is a diving association, which has focused upon providing diving instructors with required techniques and the means to teach those with physical disabilities.

John specialised in 2007 as an instructor for the IAHD. This provided confidence and knowledge to offer diver training to people that have different needs or learn a different way. There are 3 areas that John uses his skill:
1. Provide diver training to a diverse range of people.
2. Provide training training for those that dive with a buddy has different requirements.
3. Encourage other instructors to train people that have individual needs.
